Cassie Wright, regina leggendaria del porno, decide di chiudere in "bellezza" la sua carriera battendo il record mondiale di Gang Bang (quella particolare performance porno nella quale una gentile signora fa sesso con un numero spropositato di gentili signori) e di farne un film. Il suo obiettivo è quanto mai ambizioso: 600 uomini. Il libro si basa su quanto dicono, pensano e fanno Mr. 72, Mr. 137, e Mr. 600 che attendono il loro turno in una stanza assai affollata e rumorosa. Ma non vanno dimenticati alcuni elementi che rendono la storia ancora più forte. La pornoattrice ha in mente di morire durante le riprese del suo tentativo di record mondiale di modo che le successive polemiche portino a proibire ulteriori futuri tentativi di record, cosa che le garantirebbe di essere in eterno la detentrice del primato. L'immortalità è a portata di mano insomma. Inoltre la pornoattrice intende devolvere i proventi del film al figlio che aveva concepito sul set del suo primo film porno e che poi aveva abbandonato perché venisse adottato. E in effetti uno dei tre uomini su cui si basa la storia dice di essere il figlio di Cassie che cerca disperatamente di mettersi in contatto con la madre dopo che lei lo ha abbandonato da piccolo. Ma le cose stanno davvero così? (Il romanzo è adatto alla lettura da parte di un pubblico adulto)
