Così, in un irresistibile gioco di equivoci, coincidenze, menzogne e colpi di scena, Arabella ingaggia un tempestoso duello con un avversario del tutto degno di lei, mentre intorno a loro si agitano un fratello assai incauto e un gentiluomo molto cauto, una (fata) madrina senza – purtroppo – poteri magici e un’anziana e temibilissima gentildonna. E se il finale è gioiosamente prevedibile, rimangono però intatti il piacere e la sorpresa di leggere questo delizioso romanzo della scrittrice più romantica e appassionante in assoluto.

I haven't read this in years and I absolutely loved it! The Tallant family are a delight. It was chapter three before Arabella left for London and I must confess I would have liked it to be a couple of more.
