This series does not need to be this good. It doesn’t. Ending it with a freaking Rashomon-esque school festival is one thing, but the freaking Itsuki ending is absolutely masterful refusal to give in to genre trips (I assume, I don’t read these that often…) I’m not saying the last bit with the girls Leggi tutto

I have to admit that, even though Haruba’s writing style doesn’t always work for me, he knows how to build a slow burn leading to a shocking cliff hanger.
