I bought this some years ago because I can NEVER resist a good map. It's one of the things I love about Tolkien who drew his own maps and included them in his books. If for nothing else, I must give this five stars simply for the design. This is a fantastically well-made book—from the dust jacket, through the typesetting, to the end notes, to the end papers.
