I learned a lot from this book, and its bibliography has certainly made my to-read list grow. But, my god, the authors needed to hire an editor!
I've had the (foolhardy? sublime?) idea to make my own tarot deck, as a present to myself and my girlfriend. I really liked this book. It allows you to visualize where Pamela was while painting the famous images of the tarot.
