This book was one of the ‘quiet’ reads that I sometimes enjoy. It was a slow burn but this time it worked for me. Rachel Goodchild is a 49 year old GP whose life is in a bit of a rut. Based upon the blurb I was expecting a thriller and instead got more of a mystery/domestic drama. It was also a slow burn which is definitely not my favorite. This was a sad little domestic drama concerning people I didn’t much care about, with a plot that only sometimes made sense.
