This starts off quite interestingly but veers wildly off the road and crashes down a cliff. Sorry, Ales Kot, but you ought to leave metafiction to the professionals, like Grant Morrison. Langdon Foss' art is superb throughout, however, and is made all the better by Jordie Bellaire's colors.
It all makes sense at the end. Maybe. I don’t know. I’m not sure what to make of all this. I love the concept. But some of it seemed sloppy and cryptic . The Surface is the answer on question: "How would look combination of Grant Morrison's Animal Man and Alejandro Jodorowsky's Incal in case the writer is young self-centered, pretentious anarchist with ambition to lecture everyone?"
