This book hooked me, and I read it all the way through in a few days. Why? A new book club I joined has been reading a few too many "ladies' books." I really enjoyed this book! The amount of research done was incredible-- and I learned about a portion of history that I didn't know. It was a beautiful story that's about family secrets and the power of them. I highly recommend it.
