Simple and balanced introduction to this complex artist. Have learned to appreciate his work as I have seen more of it. Produced by the Museum of Modern Art, it is a very simple introduction to the life and artwork of Rene Magritte. The illustrations do a great job of showcasing Magritte's style, and a " Leggi tutto
A fun introduction to Magritte’s work, told in a fictional format (René tries to figure out what to paint).
An interesting introduction to Magritte's way of finding his art. A nice series for kids (by MoMA).
I'm a bit biased since Magritte is my favorite artist, but I really enjoyed this look inside his brain and how he came to paint his pieces. It would make a good class read aloud.
