Having the cat be in love with the owner was truly a wild (read: awful) idea. Bizarre manga and not all that interesting. I can see what the mangaka was going for here with an exploration of loneliness/depression but it really didn’t work.

Will it suffice to say that it was plain boring? There is just nothing at all in the book that's interesting. Although the art work is good and pretty adorable, there is no content to like. A sweet novella about community and the importance of connections. I really enjoyed this book, and loved how the pet cats were the threads that bound everyone together - very clever!
