Sinossi

This series is an overall solid, pretty standard YA fantasy series. I preferred how much more tea magic was in book 1 but the quest line plot was more interesting in book 2.

Honestly, I think that the first volume in this series could have been written as a standalone and the rest of the series combined into it. Though it's not a bad book, While this is a decent duology outcome and everything is resolved by the end, I didn't find this as enjoyable as the first book, whi Leggi tutto
3.5 stars - Part of what I really loved about this duology was the nostalgia it gave me for when I was reading YA as a teen. 3.5 ⭐️ I had really expectations going into this- and i'm really sad to say this was a bit meh... 😒😒 It definitely wasn't bad and there were some things I enjoyed about it, but it's nowhere near as good as the first book in this series, sadly 🥲🥲 “We all believe we are the center of the universe, but w Leggi tutto
4 stars. While I went in with minimal expectations, A Venom Dark and Sweet made for a solid first read of the year and a satisfying conclusion to what I consider an incredibly solid YA fantasy duology.
