E invece gli tocca occuparsi dell'assasinio del direttore di un biscottificio prossimo al fallimento, in una casa che in passato è stata lussuosa e dove ora ogni cosa è sporca e rotta e Maigret prova subito una "sensazione di irrealtà". The more you read Simenon, the more you like Maigret stories. And this one looks like one of his best: easy to read, many dialogues (it could be very well a play!), interested characters and an unexpected final.
Wow, my tenth Maigret became the best! How does his mind work really (the writer or Maigret)?! And If you think you know what this was about or solved the mystery, I suggest reading the last page twice, try thinking like Maigret... Wow
