Sinossi
Nexus contiene elementi autobiografici e racconta di come Miller si sia trovato a poco a poco fuori gioco dal proprio matrimonio. La moglie Mona (June nel romanzo) stabilisce difatti una relazione sempre più intima con un'altra donna: Anastasia (Jean). La nuova coppia abbandona Miller a se stesso per fuggire insieme a Parigi. Ma a un certo punto Mona ritorna da lui di propria volontà. Insieme decideranno di tornare ancora una volta a Parigi, la città tanto amata dallo scrittore americano fin dagli anni trenta.
