Soge King is so cool!! Just wish we knew who was under that mask......

(Read in 2010, review from 2024) The climax of Enies Lobby is building with this volume. Every CP9 agent save Rob Lucci who Luffy is getting warmed fighting. As cool as Sanji was in his fight with Wolfman (i.e., saving Sogeking), I preferred Nami and Zoro’s fights. It was awesome seeing Nami get bet Leggi tutto

The previous volume had some comedy to it but now we're right back to drama and tension and stakes - and what a finish! Over a decade and a half, and this remains Usopp's finest moment. Great job.

I really enjoyed the final few chapters of the volume: Robin's desperation and hope in her friends was really well portrayed, and the final few moments when all the Straw-Hat Pirates, spearheaded by Usopp, came to her rescue was brilliant; turning an average 3/5 volume into a well deserved 4/5.
