Again a great story about Alfie the doorstep cat. I had to laugh several times about the dog. In the beginning I found the story a little repetitive and slow, but overall it had some surprises. Loved the ending and I hope there will be many more books about Alfie.

I used to love the Alfie books, but I ended up DNF'ing this one. Why? Here's my list of reasons: - i am both a cat and dog lover, so I don't appreciate the dog being represented as an idiot and seeing how the cats abuse him. I.E. La solita dolcezza di Alfie e delle sue avventure ritorna anche in questo sesto libro in cui i personaggi e le vicende si inseguono senza sosta. Tornano vecchi amici, se ne trovano di nuovi e c'è sempre posto per tutti perché il cuore di questo gatto è sempre abbastanza grande per tutti!
It was fun returning to Edgar Road and reading another Alfie book. We get to meet all Alfie and his son's family and friends and there are a lot of them.
