Beth ha diciotto anni quando arriva a Manhattan da Providence per un tirocinio di tre mesi nella redazione di un prestigioso giornale. La città, il lavoro, le persone: tutto è nuovo, ma non tutto è scintillante come lo aveva immaginato.
