Durante un viaggio a Roma, la violinista americana Julia Ansdell scopre un libro molto vecchio che contiene lo spartito inedito di un valzer dal titolo Incendio, composto da un autore misterioso. Probably unfair of me to star this simply because I’m not the kind of reader it was written for. I don’t like novels that want to rush you through them to the end, to the point where you’re almost skim reading in your excitement to know what happens next.
