This book was written about 100 years ago in 1924. I think in those hundred years a lot has changed and I'm not sure that the intended audience would enjoy this book any more. The books about Christopher Robin, Winnie-the-Pooh and their friends are amongst the most delightful in English literature — for readers of all ages. A. A. Milne was a genius. When We Were Very Young is listed as the third in the series. The fourth is the very next on my reading list.
