Susumu è deciso a comprendere il significato delle grottesche visioni che lo perseguitano quando chiude il proprio occhio destro, e per farlo sceglie di rincontrare il pericoloso yakuza col quale aveva avuto quel così bizzarro incontro. Anche lo yakuza, scosso dal contatto con Susumu, è in cerca di lui, e i due non tardano a trovarsi. Procedendo per goffi tentativi, Susumu scoprirà che la Trapanazione lo ha reso in grado di vedere l'essenza di certe persone forse, addirittura, la loro anima, ma la cosa più strabiliante è che il giovane riuscirà persino a interagire fisicamente con lo spirito dello strano delinquente, fino a lenirgli il dolore che lo perseguita.

Oh my gosh. How do I even put what's running through my mind into words? Like another reviewer said, this volume definitely set the series' dark tone in stone.
