Miran è un bambino allegro, dotato di grande ottimismo e di una fervida fantasia. Racconta storie e indovinelli alla sua amica Esra e al piccolo Isa e in questo modo rende le giornate più leggere. Sono prigionieri in un seminterrato buio e umido e insieme sognano il giorno in cui comincerà la loro vita, finalmente liberi e felici. Quando colgono l’opportunità di scappare le cose non vanno bene. Sola, terrorizzata e con la responsabilità del più piccolo del gruppo, Esra farà di tutto per potersi riunire con l’amico Miran, che durante la fuga è stato catturato dalla polizia, una polizia che dovrebbe rappresentare le forze dell’ordine, ma di cui Esra, giustamente, non riesce a fidarsi. Nascosta in un bosco in riva al fiume, Esra incontra un altro ragazzo, solo e impaurito come lei, con una difficile storia famigliare alle spalle. Insieme costruiscono un pupazzo di argilla, un Golem che prende vita nella loro fantasia e, forse, nella realtà, e che li guiderà in un labirinto di gallerie sotterranee fino alla luce. Fino al momento in cui avranno il coraggio di raccontare la loro storia. Fino al momento in cui riusciranno a essere liberi.

I don’t wait to give too much away but this is such a powerful message about human enslavement, specially of children. It’s heart breaking and I’m crying but it was worth it. 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
