Tra i due nasce un’attrazione fortissima, che li porterà a mettere in discussione tutte le loro certezze. Anche per Elio il destino ha in serbo un incontro inaspettato a Parigi, che potrebbe assumere i contorni di un legame importante. Ma nulla può far sbiadire in lui il ricordo di Oliver, che vive a New York una vita apparentemente serena, è sposato e ha due figli adolescenti, eppure… Una parola, solo una parola, potrebbe bastare a riaprire una porta che in fondo non si è mai chiusa.
Con la magistrale sensibilità che ha dimostrato nel raccontare i sentimenti, André Aciman riannoda i destini dei protagonisti di Chiamami col tuo nome, in un romanzo che si interroga e ci interroga sulla durata dell’amore, al di là del tempo e delle distanze.
