What a fucking mess. The painted artwork was appalling, the story-line was incoherent, the dialogue was barely legible, and, most importantly, the portrayal of Batman was all wrong. Absolutely not just a graphic-novel. This is a dream-like lynchian descent into madness. Best Dark Knight story ever with "The Dark Knight returns" and "The Killing Joke". A masterwork.
