Con una prosa lucida e affilata come la lama di un rasoio, Avni Doshi scava tra le pieghe di quel rapporto unico che lega una madre e una figlia, mettendone in luce la complessità e le contraddizioni, ma anche tutta la forza e l’amore che lo contraddistingue.

2.5 rounded up (Listened to the audiobook) I was disappointed considering this book was shortlisted for the Booker prize. I found the character unbelievable and unrelatable. So much of it could have been more interesting but fell flat.
