This is the 3rd and last book in this trilogy, I thoroughly enjoyed all three books, although it's somewhat graphic in places but I was not phased by it all because all that was written occurred in roman times..Pomponia has worked hard to right most of the wrongs and has sorted out a lot of problems Leggi tutto

I read the Brides of Rome and then I read this story. It's an excellent conclusion of this trilogy. Pomponia vas a fascinating character and I like the gripping plot and the vivid historical background. Recommended. Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

Vestals in the future of Rome Quite an interesting book combining fiction & historical facts. Very hard to put down.. Beginning of Empire of Iron speaks of future of Rome centuries later..I would like to read more of that .
