Very good overview of an integrated view of emotions, (emotive) consciousness and underlying neurophysiological functions. I feel it complements Damasio well. Wowza! I felt like I was reading a textbook. Definitely hard to follow at times and hard to get through.

This is a good book, although some of the more technical descriptions were challenging. Whether any of this is dated, I can't say.
