This book will be perfect to hand kids headed into 5th grade. The characters are strong, the structure of the book interesting with its multiple viewpoints, and the story interesting - and I had passed this up from the reviews. I have a lot of mixed feelings about this book. There are a lot of characters and it is hard to keep them apart. Also, the book is super unrealistic, but it is for middle school aged children. I believe if I was reading this as my middle school self I would have enjoyed the book a lot more.

A book about a teacher that changes the lives of his students. I loved it! Absolutely great read and I can't wait to share it with my students next school year.
