I do like the style of these illustrations, the details, the lines and colours, some pages were really fascinating, I loved looking into these French shops as we follow a little girl seeking a present for her mother. I was a little confused by the end because we never found out what her sister got her mother and how it related to a "fuzzy little squishy."
