As someone who finds sewing with a machine very intimidating I am so thankful I found this book. The levels make sense for the projects and her justification for why certain projects are certain levels is helpful. The book is very beautiful on design and the hand drawn pictures are easier to follow

The projects in this book are so simple that they need a sophisticated fabric otherwise the finished projects really look homemade, as opposed to crafted or made by hand - a subtle but important difference.
