Kumar colloca la scienza nel contesto dei grandi sconvolgimenti dell'epoca moderna e illustra in maniera chiara e rigorosa i termini del conflitto. "Quantum" non solo ci aiuta a capire il ruolo essenziale svolto da figure minori di pensatori e scienziati solitamente trascurati, ma offre anche una lettura irrinunciabile per chiunque sia affascinato da questa avventura della conoscenza umana complessa ed emozionante.
