Sinossi
Gilles Deleuze e Félix Guattari partono da una critica della psicoanalisi, soprattutto freudiana, accusata di prevaricazione autoritaria in difesa del capitalismo. Dopo aver descritto il funzionamento del desiderio come produzione e "macchina desiderante", analogo al lavoro, gli autori attribuiscono la sua rimozione originaria alla repressione sociale, timorosa del carattere rivoluzionario e sovversivo del desiderio. Passano poi ad analizzare il modo di formazione della struttura edipica nella società primitiva, e giungono a definire il processo schizofrenico come limite del capitalismo.

I think people FEEL like they should give this book five stars -- but, unlike machines, they are not honest with themselves and feel compelled to rate it higher than it deserves. 1968 drivel.
