Non c'è da stupirsi quindi che guardando i curriculum degli autori della serie si scoprano lauree e dottorati in matematica, fisica, scienze. Per oltre due decenni siamo stati indotti con l'inganno a seguire un'introduzione animata a ogni genere di argomento matematico, dall'aritmetica alla geometria, dalla teoria dei giochi agli infinitesimali. Mosso dall'entusiasmo del vero fan, Simon Singh ripercorre le avventure della famiglia più famosa della tv per svelarci tutti i trucchi degli sceneggiatori.
