Sdraiato tra topolini meccanici e false matasse di lana, Mister Ubik si sta vistosamente annoiando. Ma ecco, d'improvviso, risvegliata la sua attenzione. Là, sotto il termosifone, c'è un gran fermento! Nessuno si è accorto che la piccola astronave non è un giocattolo, e neppure che da essa è disceso un gruppo di minuscoli alieni. Nessuno, tranne Mister Ubik. Scoperti, gli alieni sono sfuggiti ai suoi artigli e hanno trovato rifugio presso le formiche, che subito hanno fraternizzato con loro aiutandoli a riparare l'astronave in avaria. Mister Ubik è vigile e attento, ma nulla può contro l'astuzia e l'agilità degli alieni. Riguadagnata fortunosamente l'astronave, dalla finestra s'involeranno di nuovo nello spazio. Sci fi comes to children's books, with strong, colorful drawings.. a cat and her favorite toy spaceship… with aliens… I liked the concept of this and the art more than the actual story, same for my kids, in their response to it.
