A very cute Christmas story about expecting joy in the unexpected! The illustrations in this book made me smile!

I admired the kindness of Bear and the lengths he went to to help frog have a Merry Christmas. I liked that each of them had an adaptable caring attitude that contributed to both of their enjoyment of the Holiday.

Will read this to Gr 1-2 this year. Always need a new Christmas story that isn't too sweet or trying too hard to rhyme. This one has a few plot twists, large colorful illustrations.
