Rachel ha una cotta per Brendan Fear sin dalle medie. Quando lui la invita alla sua festa di compleanno nella villa di famiglia a Fear Island è al settimo cielo. Here's the thing. Reading R.L. Stine is in some ways comforting. Odd thing to say about a horror writer but I believe it's true. I loved the Fear Street books as a teen and I did enjoy the blast of nostalgia. I do think this was cheesier than I remember the Fear Street books being (this was more Goosebumps level cheesy).
