Nell'Olanda del XVI secolo, Amelie è una giovane cattolica sposata con Hans, agiato mercante con la passione del collezionismo. not gonna lie, I thought the two main characters would be lesbians. kinda disapointed it did not happened. I had a difficult time to connect with Amelie as well but I acknowledge that the characters are all pretty complex and nobody is flawless. The quality of the story telling and drawing is marvelous, the characters are deep and complex, the work done on each page is precise, focused on details and dynamic ! Absolutely wonderful artwork. I struggled a bit to get attached to Amelie, but the second part of the story got me really hooked!

4/5 Got the chance to have this book signed thanks to my friends :') This story is more to look at than read. In fact there's very little text but the drawings really speak for the entire story.
