A really surprisingly fun read for kids who enjoy adventure books. It was refreshing to see both male and female lead characters who are equal companions in terms of what they can contribute to the quests. Det var länge sedan sonen var pepp på Beast Quest men när vi hittade denna på en loppis blev han pepp igen. Ingen höjdare egentligen men sonen tyckte den var helt ok. Dock inte lika underhållande som vissa av böckerna i serien (som verkar oändlig) vi läst innan.

Really like this book and like how they don’t gain any magical powers from the beast by doing the quest I’ve found he doesn’t tend to use the powers even though things like a shadow coming away or being invisible would help in any situation so the idea of having them all just seems stupid where as t Leggi tutto

Great book Lots to keep you interested - great story from Adam Blade. Good read for ages 6-9 year olds. Will read others in the series

My favourite bit was when he said ‘It’s Komoding time!’ and komodo’d all over them dudes that was epic

When Tom grabbed Komodo's tail, Komodo ran off just when Tom jumped onto his tail, but when Komodo ran off, Tom was staying in one place and still holding the tail! (It was because Komodo was no other than the lizards that could have their tails put off by themselves when something grabbed it.) When Leggi tutto
