The story of Beowulf is a timeless tale full of blood, glory and passion. It’s a fantastic epic and I love reading it. The Seamus Heaney translation is right on the mark. This is a story that despite being so old, has resonates through the ages, commenting on the ideas of tragedy and heroism, belonging, duty, glory, and so much more.
