The Incredible Journey was one of my favourite stories as a child, although like many people, my first experience of it was seeing the film at the cinema. There is a later adaptation from 1993 called “Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey” , but the one which captured my heart was the original film Leggi tutto
Beware: animal lovers will need tissues! I don't know why this timeless story of two dogs and a cat just trying to get home should provoke such raw emotion. But it does, every time. The movie Homeward Bound is just as much of a tear-jerker. You have been warned.
Sheila Burnford's storytelling is great, if she pieced accuracy together and only re-imagined the time between eyewitnesses. She excelled at a complex task. I had a few quibbles.
