Siobhan writes so movingly and well, and this short story about a Traveller boy who falls in love with a non-Traveller girl (known as a Buffer) is beautifully rendered and very special. I actually really enjoyed this book! I am totally honoured to have read a book by this amazing author who originally wrote A Monster Calls.
