Se l’amore fosse un film, per Liz sarebbe una commedia romantica. Il suo lieto fine, però, è ancora tutto da scrivere. Sin da quando era bambina, Liz sogna un amore da film. Grazie a una passione smisurata per le commedie romantiche, nella sua testa il copione è già scritto: un giorno incontrerà il ragazzo perfetto e insieme vivranno per sempre felici e contenti. Perciò, quando la sua cotta storica torna in città, Liz non può che interpretarlo come un segno del destino: il lieto fine è in arrivo, è lui quello giusto. Il primo passo per mettere le basi del loro eterno amore è convincerlo a invitarla al ballo di fine anno. Per farlo, Liz ha bisogno di un piccolo aiuto. Più tempo passano insieme, però, più Liz si rende conto che Wes non è più il bambino dispettoso di un tempo. Adora provocarla e sa essere una discreta spina nel fianco, ma è anche capace di farla ridere, la ascolta e sembra capirla sul serio. All’improvviso Liz è costretta a riesaminare tutto quello che credeva di sapere sull’amore. Perché nel mondo reale il gran finale non è sempre quello che ci si aspetta.

Ahhh SO GOOD! I'm obsessed. The characters, the plot, the romcom references, the romance. Every aspect was so good and so well written.
