Hoffmann fino a Dvorák), sonate (tra cui Debussy e Ravel), film (tra cui "The loves of Ondine" di Andy Warhol), fino all'arte figurativa (J.W. Waterhouse e Paul Gauguin tra gli altri). This was George MacDonald’s favorite fairy tale and indeed I kept thinking he wrote it while o was reading it. The quintessential fairy tale. A story to think about long after the book is finished.
