This had a very different feel to the first book in the series. I was more of a droll military fantasy. I liked it, but not as much as the first book. I was underwhelmed by The Left Hand of God, while I thought it had potential it was also flawed. The test was going to be whether the author built on the potential or not. Sia chiaro che odio queste finte trilogie. Non sono tre romanzi, ma un unico romanzo in tre volumi. La storia diventa sempre più complessa e le battaglie sempre più violente.
