Sinossi
Usciti sul "Saturday Evening Post" tra il 1929 e il 1931, questi due racconti di F.S. Fitzgerald ambientati in Minnesota, sono rimasti finora inediti in Italia. In "L'esclusione" il giovane Forest Winslow s'innamora della bella Alida Rikker, figlia di un uomo d'affari dalla pessima reputazione: per lei sfiderà i pregiudizi dei genitori, trovando la felicità oltre ogni ipocrisia. In "Alla tua età", invece, il cinquantenne Tom Squires s'invaghisce di Annie e della sua giovinezza, che gli appare come un ultimo struggente fremito di primavera nel bel mezzo dell'inverno.

Holy. This is definitley one of my favourites of Fitzgerald's. Although it was short - hence it being a short-story - it was packed with so much feeling and emotion that I really felt for Tom. It's a story about a middle-aged man who falls in love with a younger girl,and their relationship together
