This is a very good book about a family who has to flee France when the German army arives. The oldest girl and boy are left behind to work. The boy joins up with the France army and the oldest girl learns plans of the Germans to protect her homeland and the valuable art of the world. I highly recomme Leggi tutto
Natasha Lester is one of my favourite historical fiction writers. Her books are always so well researched, beautifully written and full of emotions. I really do not know how to do this book justice.
