Precious Ramotswe, titolare della prima agenzia investigativa femminile del Botswana, ha sempre molte gatte da pelare. Non solo per via del suo mestiere di detective, ma anche perché nella sua agenzia sono in atto veri e propri rivolgimenti. Suo marito, il signor JLB Matekoni, uomo nato per i motori, stanco di respirare i fumi del carburante, vuole mettersi alla prova come investigatore. Ma ogni tanto è costretta a intervenire e a risolvere piccoli e grandi dilemmi, anche quelli della sua vita privata, compreso l'inatteso attacco di gelosia di un buon marito come il suo.

I just can’t get enough of the African detective agency. There are always new interesting cases where the truth is revealed through reasoning and asking the right questions. I always feel happy when reading the series, since I love the characters and how down to earth they are.
In this 8th book in the 'No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency' series, the firm has three cases to solve.
