An interesting and fast read about the real Regency era. Definitely didn’t go too in depth and it focused on the aspects of Regency life seen in Bridgerton, so it gave some context to the societal aspects unpacked in the book.

An enjoyable and easy to read non fiction, a perfect companion to those of us who love to read and watch pieces set in the regency era. I'm glad I'm living in this century! As a woman, my life would have been nearly unbearably (for modern woman me) circumscribed if my family had means. A nice overview with lots of helpful citations for reference, this book contains information to help me when watching the next Defence dtama.
