Un ragnetto bello cicciotto e pelosetto si imbatte in una vecchia casa dove è certo di trovare angolini bui in cui nascondersi. La mattina dopo però, al suo risveglio, una mano lo raccoglie per portarlo in piena luce. «Sei un gattino davvero strano» dice una signora. «Ti chiamerò Luigi». Il ragnetto è abbastanza certo di non chiamarsi Luigi e sa benissimo di non essere un gattino. Ma quando scopre che ai gattini vengono offerte deliziose colazioni, giochi divertenti per passare il tempo e persino comodi lettini in cui dormire, decide che fingersi un micetto non deve essere poi così male. (Piano piano, inizia anche a sentirsi a proprio agio con il suo nuovo nome). Ma per quanto Luigi può andare avanti a fingere? Cosa succederebbe se la sua nuova amica scoprisse che in realtà non è affatto un gattino?

I bought this book to read to my class, and it was so so so good that I had to put it on my goodreads so I can remember this forever. Such a great story about being yourself, and I cannot wait to see how much the kids will like it!
