The Isaac Bell series is sort fun, but the author gets bogged down running this early 20th century private detective back and forth across the country on trains. I really liked this one, probably because there wasn't nearly as much train stuff as in the previous two books.
I used to read Clive Cussler years ago. I really enjoyed the Dirk Pitt series. This one, not so much. In fact, I struggled to finish it. The last chapter was entirely unnecessary. I got very tired of Isaac Bell being referred to as "the tall detective" over and over again. cannot recommend this one. Leggi tutto
