Sinossi
Michael Bennett può tornare a New York.

Ugh!!! First the book starts off really slow and then it ends too abruptly. I feel like the ending was rushed and wasn't finished. It was a lot of drama through out both of the cases Bennett was working, and the book ended without addressing any of it. Also, the killer was so nasty, psychotic, and o Leggi tutto
Another enjoyable and totally readable book in this excellent series. Michael Bennett continues to raise his ten children in a thoroughly commendable fashion despite being a single dad with a very time consuming job. He always seems to find a suitable substitute to care for the team when he has to b Leggi tutto
Once again I return to my analogy that James Patterson books are like junk food -- they taste good, it's hard to stop once you've started, and there's virtually no nutritional value. And just like I like a good Twinkie every once in awhile, I also occasionally enjoy a good James Patterson. Michael B Leggi tutto
Can he just get with Mary Catherine already ? Alright, so I've officially read the book. I have to say, I love Michael Bennet. I think that he truly exists somewhere in the world and I would be happy to have him exist in mine! Move over husband, make room for Michael Bennet! I don't want to give any Leggi tutto

3.5* Mike B. is back in NYC. The plot of the underground cannibals is weirdly entertaining to read (seriously that couple who Bennett and Brooklyn sit down next beside only to have to the worlds, “does it really taste like chicken?”). Narcolepsy might explain how this book ended. I think James Patterson just fell asleep and quickly woke up and said "I'm done. Let me just quickly finish this up". This had SO much potential! A really gripping and creepy story line that kept me intrigued all the way to the end. Usually the Mike Benn Leggi tutto
